Tate Liverpool is an art museum and gallery along the Liverpool waterfront in the Albert Dock neighbourhood offering thousands of works in all media, from traditional to postmodern and beyond. Over 4,300 different artists are represented in the gallery's collection, some still living and others who have long since departed the mortal coil.

The collection is heavily focused on exhibiting a wide range of media. This includes traditional painting and sculpture as well as avant-garde video, audio, photography and fully multimedia exhibits incorporating different media. The collections include both permanent and rotating exhibits, so different visits will offer different experiences.
