Gyeongui Line Forest Park, built over the Gyeongui Line site in Yeonnam-dong, is known as Yeontral Park due to its resemblance to New York’s famous Central Park. The park is mainly sought out by locals as a place of relaxation, but it’s also famous as a date spot thanks to its romantic atmosphere and natural beauty.
The park is also a wonderful place to watch the spectacular sunset. Afterwards, you could stroll over to the Hongdae area to check out buskers, too.

Seoul Botanic Park is a beautiful and well-maintained park where you’ll find plants from all over the world. The park consists of a futuristic greenhouse and theme garden connected to a Han River waterway. There’s also a skywalk path that overlooks the greenhouse, giving wonderful views.
You’ll find lots of great photo spots inside the greenhouse, where you can create new memories and take pictures of beautiful plants. The outdoor theme garden is so spacious that you can enjoy a quiet walk without disturbance from other people.

Seokchon Lake Park in Jamsil is well-known as a place of respite for locals, but it’s also famous for its beautiful cherry blossoms. Thanks to the surrounding skyscrapers and a nearby amusement park, you can be assured that you’ll catch some wonderful night-time views of the scenery. Unique artworks are sometimes installed on the lake for added viewing pleasure.
The lakeside trails are well laid out, so there’s no worry of getting lost. There is a car park, but public transportation is recommended because it can get a bit crowded.

Jean Frigo is a fruit-themed hidden bar nestled in a quiet alley in Seoul’s Jung district, offering a truly unique experience. This speakeasy-style bar is disguised as a grocery shop, with entry through a vintage fridge door.
The bar features a creative cocktail menu, offering drinks inspired by both classic and contemporary flavours. The cocktails are not only delicious but also beautifully presented, and come with some dried fruits to nibble on as you sip. There’s also quite an extensive food menu at the bar. For a fun twist, you need to order the food using the old-fashioned phone, a delightful experience in itself.
