Despite its significant size, Beomeosa Temple offers a calm and tranquil experience for every member of the family. The stairway along a large forest is especially famous for its beauty. The 9th-century Iljumun Gate is a 3-storey pagoda surrounded by lovely wisterias that have been designated as a natural monument.
The temple is said to be home to the largest wisteria colony in Korea, with about 6,000 wisterias. The temple grounds are beautiful in every season, and its calming atmosphere is recommended for anyone who’d like to enjoy some moments of peace and quiet away from the bustle of the city.

Busan Citizens Park features walking paths, large playgrounds and a musical fountain within the vast parkland. The grassy area, nicknamed Busan Central Park, is about the size of 6 football pitches alone. The southern side, near Mirror Pond and the artificial waterfall, is a great location for a picnic in the open air.
U.S. army troops were stationed here during the Japanese occupation period, so you can catch traces of history while you're exploring. The park is also extremely child-friendly, with colourful play areas and lots of space to run around.

Let’s Run Park Busan Gyeongnam offers a children’s entertainment area as well as parkland where you can settle on a blanket to enjoy some snacks or a picnic. There’s also an ecological park to explore.
You don’t need to visit in winter to make the most of the sledding here; you can enjoy it all year round. Look out for the special events that take place here, too. The park is particularly beautiful when the sun sets and the festival lights sparkle.
