Educational programmes that reach out to the community for the purpose of learning together are regular events at the Frist Art Museum. American art deco and medieval styles are prominently featured, with as many engaging and informative activities as possible that relate to the world and history of art.
The museum is non-collecting, meaning it commonly changes out its exhibitions as it has no permanent collections aside from the interactive space of Martin ArtQuest.
