Our stay at the Radisson began with a very unpleasant queue at Reception for check in. There were zero greetings exchanged despite a very small entrance where everyone can see arrivals.
The first thing we noticed in the room was the red lipstick? stains on the bathroom floor. So we had to call room service within two minutes.
There was no hot water in the shower.
Bars of soap were only provided after we asked.
The spa only gave out shower jel - bright blue. Like really?
In the evening, I decided to check out the terrace and have a drink. Thinking they had my room number I went back to my room. Staff decided it was appropriate to call us at 1:30 AM demanding they come to the door to receive payment. We politely said that we would settle at check out as with any normal hotel.
Overall the hospitality was very average for a chain hotel as such. Our expectations were not met & I would genuinely recommend some kind of revamp and to spare a few extra liras. I’m not sure if soap is the place to start from when it comes to becoming a more cost efficient hotel.
