It was my first time visiting Seoul, so I chose a hotel that was centrally located. I quickly realized I made an excellent choice as the gentleman who helped me at check-in was friendly and professional. Despite the room not being ready yet, he was quick with my check-in, and helped me with bags and directions for the day. He even offered me coffee and help with moving my bags into my room once it was ready. It was a great indicator of my stay for the next few days. My room was as advertised, with a window view of Myeondong that allowed me to see the Lotte Department Store and the skyline around the area. The room was clean and the wifi was reliable (although not password protected). There was complimentary coffee, tea and juices in the common area in the lobby during the daytime, which I appreciated. The only part that was a bit awkward was the shower and the sink was located in the same area in the bathroom. It just took some getting used to, and it was fine after the first 1 or 2 days. The hotel itself was located in the heart of Myeongdong, allowing easy access to restaurants, shopping and two subway lines (lines 2 and 4). It was very walkable and it was close to many of the tourist spots I wanted to visit on my trip. For the price I paid, this was extremely good value, and would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Seoul.
