I was thrown off by the psychic booth in front of the hotel reception area. I second guessed if it was the hotel. The lobby was clean and the staff were friendly. The hotel was in an old thin building hence the space limitation. The elevator was quiet, even though our room is in front of the elevator, we did not hear it when being used. Our room was 604 - there was no view.
Some things I would rather have fixed
1) The window was dirty / dusty
2) There was no exhaust in the washroom
3) The TV was not working, though we never used it since we tour outside.
4) There was only 1 chair for sitting.
5) There was no safe to store our valuables
The property was close to the subway it's very accessible. Very close to flat iron building, hence it's close to the hop on hop off bus tours. The receptionists were very helpful, the check in process was very smooth. They even stored our luggage before we checked in and after we checked out. I believe Carmina helped us with out check out she was amazing.
Overall, this hotel is not over grand but for the price and location this is worth our time and money. We spent USD$1000 for 4 nights stay - not cheap for the type of hotel but we are in Manhattan. If we are touring back in Manhattan, this will be one of our options.
