Could have been better or worse
No host onsite - didn't get the door/gate codes to get in - had to call the number while I was standing on the street late in the evening with some questionable people standing across the street

Budget hotel with potential
This is a property going through a personality disorder. The rooms feel like a hip hotel but the rest of it feels like a hostel. There is no on property personnel, Libby shared with a restaurant, neighborhood is a tad rough.
This ok a minute to find the entrance. Google Maps takes you to the back door for some reading.
Parking across from hotel is not overnight. Your car will be locked in, you will pay for an extra day, but it’s safe.

Booking at The Audemar Hotel was such a smooth and hassle-free experience! The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating from the start, making everything so easy. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful—very clean, classic, and unique. Every detail was well thought out, and the welcoming atmosphere made my stay truly memorable. Highly recommend!

The room was good and bed and shower where okay, however, no further facilities and the neighbourhood was bad. When I asked where to find something to eat I was directed to the most creepy part of the street, not safe after dark. Moreover, at one early morning the code to enter the building appeared to be changed, without notifying me, so I was locked out from 7 till 9 in the morning. No reaction to my call's or whatsoever, what gave me quite an unsafe feeling.

Awful the room wasn’t ready by 3:00 the house keeper was rude. Leftover food in the fridge & 3 filled syringes in the freezer . Disgusting. Mild on the sponge! Washer and dryer filthy . Etc

The audemar hotel let’s talk about it. The staff which was only one person was an older Hispanic gentleman who was very helpful and nice to talk too. The owner who I only spoke too via phone was cool let me check out a bit later for a cheap fee & was very attentive also texted back very quick. So as far as customer service goes the audemar was perfect. Next the cleanliness of the bathrooms was very shotty the shower head was very dirty you could see that it was not wiped down from the previous guests same thing with the sink there was toothpaste residue on the handles or some kind of soap but it was not clean and the soaps they had available were not filled up all the way. Furthermore there is only help from staff between 9am - 10pm. I had zero issue with this until the toilet clogged at 1 or 2 am. Please to the owner add a plunger to every room or even just a sign saying “please don’t flush toilet paper”. Attention to detail is very important and guests will notice these things even if they don’t complain. The property and facilities were actually really safe I like that there are two gates to get in and out of the hotel. Finally the area AROUND the hotel I mean if you know LA this is near skid row so the area isn’t the BEST so you pay for what you get. Overall if you need a place to rest this place is okay. I would stay again if they did better with the bathrooms.

10/10 this boutique hotel feel more like a air bnb was the cleanest hotel I’ve stayed in check in was a breeze the owner was nice pleasant and helpful great customer service there’s security at the front door to insure your safety I would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again thank you

Pros: Easy check-in, friendly staff, good communication. The bed was comfortable. Cons: The room was so noisy - I could hear every car driving by the entire night, including sirens, garbage trucks and busses. So, didn’t sleep well at all despite the comfortable bed. The room was also filthy. My feet turned black from the dirt on the ground after my shower, and the floor was sticky. Pretty gross. The parking lot was not secure - it’s unmonitored and open 24 hours - and the neighborhood is pretty sketch.

Over all the rooms were very clean and spacious, exactly like the pictures. They provided many amenities including microwaves, laundry, towels, etc. and the place was also very safe indoors. Very fancy decor and super nice vibe! The staff was also wonderful and they helped us out graciously. The rooms are secure and theres also a very nice restaurant inside of the ‘main’ building which has amazing food for great prices. You may have to buy an overnight parking spot but it doesn’t cost much for a 16 hour stay. Lots of dining options nearby! The downtown place it’s at is also very nice to walk around and explore. It’s in the middleish area so it’s easy to go around and explore the surroundings of Downtown L.A. Theres a lot of homeless population and the people on the streets are somewhat suspicious but safe in the daytime seeing I was safe walking alone for 5 miles around the place as a girl— in the daytime. At night the streets get a little ghosty but nothing to be extremely worried about unless you get unlucky and run into someone having a bad night. The property itself is lovely, 10/10 recommend for that Downtown LA experience!! Get the King bed studios!!

The Audemar is nice once you are inside. The neighbor is a little sketchy. Great if you plan to Uber everywhere. The room was really comfortable and clean. Austin was really responsive. He let us check in early and accommodated us well. This place was perfect for our needs.

BED BUGS!! NEVER STAY HERE!!
DO NOT EVER, EVER STAY AT THIS HOTEL! IT HAS BED BUGS! After checking-in and unpacking and going to dinner outside of the hotel, I came back hours later in the evening only to find BED BUGS on my pillow and mattress!! I packed up and left immediately. Upon advising management/owner, they stated that he could not find or see BED BUGS and that it "could be lint from my socks". The Bugs were jumping around!! I booked 5 nights, and the owner refused to refund anything.... not even ONE night! Terrible hotel, terrible customer service....DO NOT EVER STAY AT THE THIS HOTEL!!

It was a very nice hotel, I loved that there is a Cuban restaurant right next-door and I love the security although the hotel is a very sketchy area. The hotel itself is very secure. The parking was limited, but the hotel room itself was very unique clean. There was a good view obviously because of the area, but very comfortable.
