We stayed in room 109 for one night. Upon checking into our room, before unpacking, we noticed the very loud sounds of the elevator. I immediately went back to reception and spoke with the desk staff, requesting a room change. He told me the noise I was hearing was from the laundry room and not the elevator. He stated it would cease at 4pm. It did not. The noise was indeed the elevator and he did not offer to assign us a different room. Because of the noise, despite wearing ear plugs, it was a terrible night's sleep. The elevator ran often, and woke my husband up for the last time at 1:30am. At 5am, it started back up and woke us up.
In addition, our room was on the same floor (1st) as the breakfast area. We could hear the staff talking and laughing early in the morning, despite wearing ear plugs.
We would not recommend this property for even a one night stay. There are several other comparable properties nearby.
