Best Western Aramis Saint-Germain

The front desk is very nice and helpful. This hotel is in a great location - close to the metro and many shops and restaurants in the great St Germain area. However, the rooms and bathrooms are extremely small. The hallways and elevator are also ridiculously small. Only one person with one suitcase could fit in the elevator at one time. The whole feel of the hotel is very claustrophobic and run down. This hotel may be ok for Europeans used to this kind of space but for Americans it is really is not anywhere near American hotel standards - even for a 3 star. The price was very high for what you get.

Weekend in Paris alone with my two kids. Hotel is near metro, walking distance (a good walk) to the Seine and the Louvre. Room was clean, beds comfortable, crisp white sheets, bathroom recently updated. Nespresso machine in room ;). Best of all, though, was the reception staff. Multilingual, gracious, full of great local advice (including excellent local, authentic restaurants not crowded with tourists). Best time I have had in Paris.

Super small room with a window facing another window. Feel trapped as you can,t open curtains even during the day. Very basic breakfast. When I asked for a map of local area I got the map, but the front desk person did not bother showing me where is the actual hotel location on a map.

Great customer service from all the staff. Very clean and well kept. Area around hotel is nice. Everything you need is within a 10 min taxi(Uber) drive.
