The stay overall was good. We were only there one night, for the price it was good, I just needed a place to sleep so I didn’t expect too fancy. Everyone was friendly, it was clean and bigger than I expected. I struggled with the smell of the room though, normally hotel cleaning chemicals don’t bother me but this was super strong and the whole night was like I was sniffing a bottle of pinesol which led to a migraine. I wish I did a little more research on the location because it is directly next to the highway so you’ll hear the traffic all night but that is most of Orlando anyways. The one thing that was very questionable was the hotel room had two doors, one with the key access they give you and it does have a thing you fold out to give extra protection when you lock it but the second door has a single lock like to a bedroom. It locks but as soon as you turn the handle the lock pops and it opens no problem. That made me very uncomfortable and didn’t make a lot of sense to have one secured locked door and then one that was just a pop lock you didn’t have to put much effort into opening. The back entrance is right next to the highway and the back door has no lock. Luckily I wasn’t alone and we were only there for a short time, but for anyone who is traveling alone and looking for a more secure spot this isn’t necessarily the best.
