cheap and cheerful, the bed was really comfy and clean and it was nice to just camp out in my room with a brew after a long day at work/on the road. The shower wasn't powerful but it did the job each morning. Parking is shared with the indigo restaurant so during peak times its hard to get a parking spot but all was good later on when i tried again. Close enough to amenities/city centre if you have a car.

The taps in the bath were damaged and broken, the room could have been done in the last 20 years, badly in need of a refurbishment. Lack of plug sockets in room and only one properly working light switch. The staff however were friendly and helpful. Free parking for guests was a bonus and it's the perfect distance from the train station/city centre.

The decoration was quite shabby with paintwork peeling etc. Fire alarm went off 3 times in 40 mins. Bed was quite comfy so was able to sleep well.

I went through the whole stay without a remote control for the Tv.as my request for batteries wasn’t met. Luckily I don’t watch Tv so this had little effect on my stay. Parking was good Building and halls were not fantastic but the room for one night for a single traveller was absolutely fine and met my needs.

A very worn down hotel that is in desperate need of refurbishment. It’s too many things that aren’t working and that goes for most of the rooms. The rates for the rooms are low for a reason, be warned! There is a lot of shady characters staying at the hotel and the management doesn’t care at all if the other guests are disturbing with loud noises and screams all night!

The room was dirty, carpet had stains and very unclean, bed uncomfortable, asked for a remote for TV, went reception twice and ended up tracking down the maintenance man who gave me dead battery to replace . Never again There's was a party and music was blasting from 2am tp 4am ,ridiculous

. Not very clean the starhe hotel room was not very clean. The carpet, from the stairs to the room, was dirty and had a very bad smell. The door and the surrounding areas were also not clean. There was noise coming from the neighbouring room, which made it uncomfortable. The TV did not have a remote control, so I could not use it. Overall, I was very disappointed with the cleanliness and condition of the room. The only area that was clean was the bathroom. I hope the hotel takes these issues seriously and improves its standards for future guests.

Clean enough and spacious room. Parking on site included with plenty of spaces. The building is a little run down but for the price it served the purpose.

Stains on the carpet, which looked like it had never been hoovered. Poorly maintained and felt filthy all round. Would never stay here again. Cheap for a reason

The hotel is in a good location, easy to walk in to town, good parking, easy reach of the station. I was on the 2nd floor, a bit of a hike, no lift. The room was Ok but maybe a bit tired. It was VERY hot, I know the weather was warm but it was not possible to open the window much and it was very very stuffy. It was satisfactory for a one night stay and if I was going to Coventry again I would consider using it again but I would not rate it a great deal better than OK.

The room was shabby, with damaged doors and woodwork, non-operating lights, very little cold water through the tap or shower. The carpet was dirty, worn and had seen better days. There was a very loud and late function of some sort (thumping music into the small hours and shouting as people finally left) right under my room, making sleep elusive. There were mugs provided, but no teaspoons... The desk staff (1 person) was, however, very accomodating and welcoming. It is just very sad that the establishment did not match her enthusiasm. Would actively seek alternatives on any future visits to Coventry

Only two staff for everything ; room wasn’t ready one went off to hoover it , couldn’t park, couldn’t eat as restaurant was closed, no wine left in the bar. Very badly stained carpet, curtains hanging of the rail, bathroom toilet system didn’t fit generally Really bad old & tired Hotel
