Our perfect stay in the Loggia Suite
This was our first visit to Marrakech and first time away as a family and Dar Seven did not disappoint. From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty, immediately being presented with home brewed mint tea whilst sitting in the beautiful courtyard of the Riad.
Our hosts, Ahmad and Iliass were fantastic from start to finish. Their dedication to their guests is exceptional with nothing being too much hassle, day or night.
They organised a private day trip for us up the Ourika Valley, visiting a traditional Berber house, a pottery, an Argon oil cooperative and a guided walk to the beautiful waterfalls. We even stopped for a quick camel ride on the way home!
They made great restaurant suggestions, including Dar Zellij, a 17th century traditional Morrocan restaurant, just a stone’s throw away from the Riad. Another recommendation we visited was Chez Lamine, a restaurant frequented by A list celebrities, where lamb is lowered down into large ovens in the ground and cooked to perfection, in only a way the Moroccans know how.
They even provided a lovely dinner on the rooftop of the Riad, where during the day you can view the snow capped Atlas Mountains- very romantic.
