Ueno Hotel wasnabout a 10 min. Walk to Ueno station, along the way are some good spots to eat like Yoshinoya, and convince store for snacks and Bento Box. The staff was friendly, helpful and spoke english well. I walked around at night and early mornings, even hit some side road and back road and felt safe the whole time.

Perfect for what I needed-just a room to sleep in between sightseeing adventures.
