No frills, good value and service
We arrived at the hotel early and intended to leave our bags with reception until check in time. To our surprise, we were offered a room key.
The room itself was nice, though the view out of our window was of a wall and nothing else. It was a bit laughable considering the name of the hotel.
Some small ammenities we are accustomed to finding in hotels were not included. For instance TV channels, extra blankets/pillows, and a pen and paper were not to be found.
Our beds were made daily but housekeeping failed to refill the coffee packets or take away the used cups. Upon asking for extra coffee, it was promptly provided but we found the same issue the following day.
Overall, we were pleased with our stay. The customer service was fantastic, and we felt it was good value compared to the cost of other downtown hotels.
