Overnight Stop in Chester
Not sure what we were going to find as the reviews are very mixed however we arrived just after 11am and we parked at the hotel very easily. We went to reception to say we had parked and the very helpful lady checked and said our room was ready so we checked in. It was a large room with a massive bed overlooking the end of the race course. It was a quiet room.
We did not eat at the hotel that day but we did have breakfast which was very nice. It is not a buffet - you order and it is all brought out to your table. The restaurant is on the five floor and has spectacular views. All the staff we spoke to very very nice and friendly.
The hotel is just over the road from the City Wall, 5 minutes walk from the town and about 10 minutes to the park.
We would definitely recommend.
