As mentioned in some of the reviews, there are pros and cons to this hotel. Decent place and certainly can't complain about what I paid for. The hotel is outdated and on the very low end. At this resort and many others as well, even in Cabo San Lucas, you cannot swim on the beach. The rip tide and waves make it very unsafe. While we were there, the waves were dangerous, and the tide was extremely high. There are only 2 restaurants with limited food choices, and it seemed most foods were pre-cooked and preheated. The food at Luna is terrible. My suggestion is that if you want to eat at the hotel, Mercardo, buffet style, not great choices, but overall okay. The hotel is about a 10-minute drive from the airport and a 25-minute drive to Cabo San Lucas. The best thing about this hotel is the staff, hardworking and constantly cleaning. Regrettably, we will not choose this place again.
