Run, before you check in.
Congratulations, Palms Casino Resort, for redefining “hospitality.” I expected world-class Las Vegas service, but instead got racial bias, neglect, and broken facilities.
We arrived exhausted at 11 PM, only to be “welcomed” by Arianna’s unfriendly glare and dismissive attitude. As an Asian guest, I couldn’t ignore how warmly she treated other guests in contrast. She then “accidentally” assigned us two completely uncleaned rooms. When I returned to complain, Nicole ignored us, busy laughing and chatting with coworkers.
Our “replacement” room had a broken shampoo holder and a lingering stench—proof of how little care is given to guests. A look at Google Maps shows Arianna’s name mentioned repeatedly for poor service, yet clearly nothing has been done.
As a former Marriott staff member, I’m shocked. This property shows no interest in addressing complaints or respecting Asian travelers. Instead, guests are treated as invisible revenue sources.
If your goal is to make paying guests feel unwelcome, disrespected, and discriminated against, congratulations—you’ve succeeded. I’ll be warning others not to waste their money here.
