Dirty bathroom & old mattress disappointed
It was disappointing overall.
Good sides: hotel is close to central station (7 min. walking) which also has metro station to touristic centers of city like Nyhavn. ( but I might want to be walking distance to Nyhavn next time) The people in front desk were trying to be helpful. Hotel was nicely decorated.
There is a cute cafe run by hotel in lobby area. There is a Greek restaurant across the street that you can have breakfast which was nice enough. Free & fast wifi. Heating was ok for me and i like very warm, didn’t feel cold at all.
Disappointing sides: there is no restaurant within the hotel other than the cafe, thus the room service is very limited (2 sandwiches and charcuterie, so if you get hungry in the middle of the night you don’t have options). Rooms are not properly cleaned. Clean sheets and glasses; but toilet and shower had visible stains and this didn’t change even after room cleaning came. Building is old and renovated, i guess that is why I woke up with noise from water pipes in 7 a.m. every morning. Lastly the mattress was so old I literally sinked when I sit on it.
This isn’t a cheap hostel, I paid a lot of money but the dirty bathroom and old mattress didn’t meet the expected.
