Great stay for a concert at Carolina Theatre
Very comfortable- had breakfast via Starbucks on the premises … It was all very nice and easy access to the venue (2.5 miles). We had dinner across the street at a great Mexican restaurant which was also delicious and reasonably priced.

Mostly great, but one shortfall
The staff at this hotel were excellent. Service was quick and correct. All of the employees with whom we had contact were knowable and courteous. The location was great and the parking was easy. The beds were comfortable and well appointed. In point of fact there was only one element that tainted our stay, and given the excellence exhibited in all other area was entirely surprising. The hotel is in serious need of cleaning. The carpets are very dirty as are the public surfaces. The walls and doors are covered in various spills. There are some really bad smells both in the rooms and public areas. In closing, it seems a shame that a hotel with such good performance is brought down by a sub-standard cleaning staff.

Although this property is rundown and a sign greeted us with a warning about recent car break ins, the place was immaculate and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The lobby was lovely and the restaurant was great. I was surprised by the best margarita I have had in s a long time there. The fitness center was well stocked and there was a delightful sitting area and pool in the courtyard. Don’t let the cover deter you—it really is a great value for the money.
