The Breakfast exceeded my expectations and the preparer / meal staff was positive and friendly.
This could have been a good + experience but for the lobby staffer who initially was professional and efficient. But when advised that the occupants of the room next door were sitting in the hallway, in camping chairs and making loud noises… No apology or empathy was offered, a different room was. When advised the new key cars was not working, again, no apology or empathy just a matter of fact instruction to come back to the office so that “I can show you” how to use the card and hung up on this guest while speaking. When I called back to ask why / if he hung up on purpose? again, no apology/ acceptance of poor staff to guest interaction… I have many customers! and second hang up. When I drove / walked back in… no contrition or empathy, immediately began to speak to me as if I was a child, demonstrating how the card works. When I explained that I had tried this, no words, just an issued a new card. Disappointed by the multiple negative interactions, I returned to the room and the new card immediately worked. My guess is there was a problem with the card initially issued. Lastly, at check out, I requested a print out/ receipt but was assured by a different/friendly staff member that it would emailed and my “reserve” amount on the booking credit card returned promptly. 48 to 72 hours later, neither has happened.
