Good location, worth the money spent
Location is perfect, just over the Nanjing Road pedestrian street. It is close to People's Square metro sttaion and East Nanjing metro station. The front desk stuff was very helpful and mostly speak English.
The building is old, rooms need to refurbished. The window was not possible to fully close because of old structure and air condition was not possible to heat the room. The cleanliness was ok. The size of my room and bathroom also was ok and comfortable.
The breakfast is eatable compared to Chinese standarts. They have Chinese and Western breakfast options with egg and bacon etc. I stayed in China also in more expensive hotels but the breakfasts there was even worse, so don't have a high expectations for breakfasts in China. In Nanjing road, there are several Starbucks, KFC and McDonalds and they serve also breakfast, as a contingency.
For my next time in Shanghai, I would definitely consider to stay in Seventh Heaven because of its location and its price which fits my budget.
