I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. The hotel is in good location. It is clean. Staff is generally nice and helpful especially Andre who is in the front office at nights. I was only disappointed by the behavior of the staff during my check out at 11 am on 10 th Sept. I asked him to call a taxi because I have difficulty in carrying my luggage. He made many excuses (like there is a race etc). He suggested me to cross the street and walk up to the corner with my luggage. When I insisted, then he said he can't help, he is busy, as if calling a taxi for a senior guest and attending a simple request is not his job. I stayed other hotels in Barcelona in that area. They all called taxi during my checking out and accompanied me to the taxi. Otherwise all was well in Gran Via.
