Some issues
Our room wasn't ready at check-in at 4:45pm. Receptionist told us the parade went right by the Arlo...it did NOT!! Missed the parade because of this. Second day there our key cards wouldn't work. A different Receptionist told us we needed to walk 2 Chicago blocks to catch bus to Union Station. WE found out ourselves that the bus picks up right from the Arlo. A plus for this hotel...water pressure was great!

It's a nice clean safe hotel in a good location. My shower was great. I love it when shower heads are high. It was a good bargain too.

Great location.
Great hotel. 5☆ location. A little small bedroom than other hotel rooms but the view is amazing. Comfortable bed. Pillows were a little big for me (It is a preference). The hotel smells great. I will definitely stay at this hotel next time in Chicago.

A gem in Chicago
Arlo provided a great location for us to explore Chicago during our 2 night stay. Lots to see in walking distance and public transport options close by. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean. ALK restaurant could improve its gluten free awareness. Would stay again.

Exactly what I needed with a couple of nice perks
In town for a quick one-night stay and was able to snag a room on the way in. Trendy interior design, nice quaint bar/dining area (limited TV's if wanting to catch a game). Drink/dining credit per night, canned water and espresso pods provided in rooms, fitness center and on-demand workouts, fridge in room accessible and innovative lighting controls. Single King room was small but enough space for a single person. No outdoor access but park and lake just a couple blocks away to walk, run or get on the Divvy bikes
