I was very disappointed with my stay.
First, I had to pay a $25 fee just to check in three hours early, even though the hotel was nearly empty and our room was already ready.
Second, the hallways had no air conditioning and were unbearably hot, which caused condensation that puddled into our room. The carpet and bedspread felt damp whenever the air conditioner was off for a while, and the whole room felt uncomfortably moist once it warmed up. When I informed the hotel staff, they seemed confused about the room conditions, though they did admit maintenance was working on the hallway AC. It did get slightly cooler as our stay continued.
Third, for $95 per night, the room did not meet expectations. The pillows were old, flat, and in desperate need of replacement. The tub and bathroom borders were rusty, which was unappealing.
Lastly, the curtains were a major issue—there were only sheer curtains covering the window, and while there were blackout curtains, they were fixed on the sides purely for decoration and couldn’t be closed to block the sunlight.
I did not try the breakfast, so I can’t comment on that. Overall, based on these experiences, I will not be returning.
