Coping with "Firmness"
This was the second time we stayed at this hotel. We are here each time so that we can be present at Fairfax Medical Campus for imaging at 6AM. We live 80 miles away, so staying nearby allows us to arrive there on time. During my first stay here, I found the mattress to be as hard as a rock and I scarcely slept at all. I have a bad back and my wife had no problem sleeping on the mattress. I have found that my feeling that the bad to too hard is only my experience, not everyone else. Knowing what I felt on the first stay, I brought with me to this second stay, a "Sleep N Go", which is a foldable cushion that fits between the sheets on my bed (we reserved a room with two beds). This Sleep N Go allowed me to sleep very soundly on this second stay. I was relieved. I rated this room "Good" because I was able to sleep good, despite my bad back. Everything else about this room was very good. It was very quiet on both stays and is located only three miles from the hospital. Perfect! Now, my doctor requires that I return one more time for post-op check. I will be staying here again, with that Sleep N Go, since we will again be required to be at the hospital at 6AM. This hotel is perfectly located for our needs and its price is in our small budget. If your back is bad, bring something to soften the mattress. If your back is not bad, you'll sleep as good as my wife did each time. There is an in-house restuarant, but we ordered pizza. Enjoy!
