On our 2nd to last evening, we came back and our (old style/vintage metal) key became stuck in the door after it was unlocked open. I’ll give credit due, their onsite maintenance team came quickly. However, he continuously repeated that I forced the key in the wrong way and that’s why it was stuck. Obviously that is not how keys work as the lock would not have opened had it been “backwards”.
Irregardless of the accusation, he was unable to provide a working key for the remainder of the night (and into the next day). I had to sleep with my 2 young children with a hole in the key chamber covered by paper towel and our belongings barricading the door. Thankfully the deadbolt worked but we could not leave the flat. This was around 630p.

I have asked several times for a refund of the last night due to the safety concern and not having a working door and key. However, the staff manager were very rude and insisted I “broke the door” and was “lucky” they did not charge me for the key and will not be refunded.
To that note I cannot recommend this location. It is unsafe and they clearly take advantage of those who are not natives. It was a terrible taste of the country and I can only hope Expedia will take safety concerns like this at hand seriously. Thankfully I have videos and pictures of the sit
