I was initially impressed by the hotel's exterior and the beauty of the beach, with plenty of outdoor activities available for purchase. However, my experience quickly turned into a nightmare. The taxi drivers associated with the hotel overcharged for short rides, and the hotel staff does nothing to stop this blatant exploitation. We had a terrible time with basic amenities—no towels or washcloths were available despite our constant requests. We eventually had to buy our own, which is unacceptable for any hotel, let alone a supposedly luxury one.
The food was another major letdown. Breakfast options were limited, and dinner was bland and unseasoned. We ended up leaving the hotel several times just to find food that represented the island's cuisine. The dining staff were shockingly rude, making us feel unwelcome and ignored.
Our room was neglected throughout our stay. The sheets were never changed, and even after being out all day, we returned to find the room uncleaned and no fresh towels.
I regret choosing this hotel. Having visited Jamaica over 12 times, this was by far the worst hotel experience I've ever had. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
