Pros: Amenities were great, loved being steps from the pool (they sell tickets to non-hotel guests so they're sometimes over capacity and you can't get in) and the beach. When we checked out early, they did the right thing for billing. I've never been so happy to be home. Cons: We're in a global pandemic and they don't clean the rooms. There was an air mattress as an owner must have stayed there during the renovation and did not clean up. More importantly there was a dirty rag under the bed and sand EVERYWHERE. We let it go the first night thinking it would get fixed subsequent nights. No cleaning service ever came, just given clean sheets and towels when requested at the front desk. This was one of the few times we went to the front desk and the staff wasn't slamming the door on other staff members or guests. This place is not family friendly. The staff lives on the property and parties with loud music at all hours. The bathrooms haven't been updated since the 70s. The knobs have no markers and are counterintuitive so once you get the right temperature, after 5 minutes, it isn't consistent. Be prepared to have 30 second bursts of hot and cold water. Note, these are the biggest, but not all the issues we encountered. I can sympathize with how hard it must be to open a hotel during a pandemic, but not at $350 a night. Like 2020, it was a 30th birthday best forgotten
