For the love of pets, but not humans.
Our family used to have a dog, so I'm not opposed to pets. When we first walked up to the entrance doors there were 2 dogs on the lawn barking and pooping. I don't want to seem unreasonable but I gotta say I thought well, I'm not liking this. We were checking in at the front desk and there was a dog barking in the hall. I asked the hostess at the front desk is this a hotel that allows pets. She answered yes. Then I asked if she could please put us in a room that had never had pets in it. She said all of their rooms are pet friendly and have all had pets in them. I thought for those of us that don't usually go on line and get hotel rooms it would have been nice having missed the whole pet friendly hotel if Hilton would have kept some rooms aside that were just people friendly so that when clueless people like ourselves booked, (and we booked for 3 nights) we didn't need to put up with what we did.
We checked having been told oh don't worry our rooms are thoroughly cleaned from top to bottom, so you'll never know. What a bunch of bull!! Just walking down the hallway I could smell dog smell. We got inside our room, dog hair all over the dark ottoman, counters, probably everywhere. I rolled my luggage across the floor and you should have seen all the pet hair that static electricity sucked up on my suitcase. I pinched the hair off and walked it to the front desk. I asked that our room was cleaned the next day. Nothing happened. The last time I stay in a Hilton!
