+ Rooms were clean, decorated with modern furniture, received tons of natural light and packed with amenities. Immediately felt at home.
+ Hotel's location and access to mass-transportation is of note
+ Delicious breakfast buffet that is certainly worth the price with impeccable service (bringing my mother gluten-free bread simply after observing she carries a pack around by herself)
HOWEVER;
- The "warm" and professional welcoming feeling from the reception staff was missing
- Snacks in the room were not replaced following a request from reception
- Reception was unable to program two keycards to work at the same time for one room
- On our check-out, we were told by the receptionist that our payment was already made through hotels.com, even though we had requested to pay at the hotel and our confirmation e-mail stated so. Consecutively, my parents flew home with the cash they brought with them for the hotel payment. The next day, I was contacted to be told that a mistake was made and was asked to pay by card myself instead. This, of course, posed a great inconvenience on my behalf.
