We only stayed here for one night in order to break up our journey to Hoi An from Hanoi. We therefore weren't too bothered that the hotel is a little way out of the city centre. Although, that being said, you could argue that Danang doesn't really have a centre, more a collection of places that people tend to cluster around - the beach area, the Dragon bridge and the area just around the river bank on the "tail" side of the Dragon bridge.
The reason for staying was to see the Dragoin bridge do its thing, and we were not disappointed. However, it was a good 2 mile walk (at least) from the hotel. The hotel has free bikes to borrow, so that would make it easier for some.
The hotel itself was very pleasant. The room was large and comfortable and the staff were lovely, arranging our transfer to Hoi An with a 2 hour stop over at the Marble Mountains via a private car. Breakfast was delicious.
We did not use the pool, but had a look and it was an okay size for somewhere to cool off.
All in all, if you don't mind walking/cycling/using cabs, this is a great (and cheap) little place to stay.
