Booked a 2 night stay in a non-smoking room. Checked in, dropped off stuff & went on my way, thinking room had a funky smell. Returned for the night... funk was there but decided to get some dleep. Rolled off the pillow during the night, and immediately awoke, face down on the mattress, to the scent of urine. Absolutely gross. Got up, showered, moved all of my things from the room to my vehicle, let front desk know. I requested a different room & was told that when I returned later, one would be provided. So... returned, was assigned a new room (noting urine stained mattress was now sitting on sidewalk, outside of previous room). New room smelled fresh. I changed, left for the afternoon & evening, returning only to sleep. Got up this morning... with bites on my neck, hands, legs?? Showered, packed, reported again to front desk. Received a wide-eyed "this is the first we've heard of this" & quick refund of damage deposit.
Travelors should be allowed to charge this place a damage deposit to ensure it cleans up it's act, or pays for subjecting customers to crap conditions.
