Unfortunately, my experience had several issues. My room flooded because of a leak from the bathroom. When I asked to be moved to another room, I was told that wasn’t possible.
They did send someone to fix the leak and clean the room, which I appreciated. However, some of my clothes got wet as a result. The front desk told me they would take care of having my clothes dry cleaned, but when I picked them up, I was charged for the service.
I also had several frustrating experiences with the front desk. On multiple occasions, I called with questions and was told they would call me back, but they never did. I had to call again each time to get an answer.
The hotel also does not have a pool. I’m not sure if they plan to add one in the future, but it’s something to be aware of if that’s an important amenity for you.
I paid extra to upgrade my room. While the upgraded room was larger, it actually had fewer features than my original room. For example, the upgraded room did not have a mirror, even though the standard room did. It also had a safe that didn’t work, possibly because the battery was dead. I didn’t bother reporting it, but the safe in my original room worked without any issues.
Overall, there were a few positives, but the service, maintenance, and communication need improvement. I hope these issues are addressed before my next visit.
