Neither cheap or nice.
First off I paid $130 then they pulled out an additional $50 that they have not returned to me yet talking about for damages if they occur my room was pre-wrecked everything is in fairly poor condition already which has me concerned that they’re gonna charge me for it. Then they charge me $15 for services that aren’t even available anyway like the gym or the pool and for bottled water in the city known for free water. It was even springwater they’re charging me for it was dollar tree water. Then they charge me an additional $30 for valet parking. Like I said, the rooms were in poor condition stains on the carpet. None of the furniture was matching. I can’t say the room was clean either. I found a receipt from the previous guest. The mirror had dust in the walls had spots where people have spilled things or maybe blood I didn’t want to touch it. Also of soap, so kind of had to choose between washing my hands or washing my body. It’s a historical hotel but there’s no information about the hotel. It’s been nice to know like what’s available. What’s nearby? Apparently there’s a tunnel going from the hotel to what used to be an old speakeasy that would’ve been really cool to see. I think the Arlington can take a few pointers from, the Crescent hotel in Eureka Springs that one seems better managed . The hotel staff seemed fairly friendly and tried to be helpful. I especially liked the older black man who was the valet. He was just a joy to deal with.
