Välfungerande luftkonditionering och placerat mitt i stan. Personalen var väldigt tillmötesgående och mycket trevliga. Vi trivdes mycket bra!

Muito bem localizado no limite entre a cidade nova e o centro antigo, o Bastion Luxury Apartments só tinha um defeito que merece ser mencionado: muitas escadas! Fica no 4o andar de um prédio e isso pode ser um fator limitador para muitas pessoas. Para nós foi tranquilo, o quarto era bom, bem decorado, cama confortável e banheiro em ótimas condições.

Andar alto sem elevador é problemático. A propriedade tem três aptos: um bem pequeno com um box de chuveiro muito pequeno. Alguém com mais de 90 kg ou mais de 1,90 m de altura tem muita dificuldade. Outro quarto é bem espaçoso mas não fica claro que quarte vai ser destinado ao hóspede; e preços são iguais...

The room was very large and clean but I wasn't told there would be 88 steps to get to the 4th floor. Thank god the host brought our luggage up for us as we are older. The property is located in a good location but parking is hard to find if you are driving. I just parked in a parking garage 20 min. Away and left my car there for the duration. There are some lots closer

Super clean room, Deni was great and met us to check in at 11 pm after we got there super late because of traffic. Air conditioning was great and the location can’t be beat.

Bom quarto, Host Deni muito atencioso ao nos receber, nos deixou várias dicas sobre a cidade e restaurantes. Ótima localização na rua pricipal em frente a zara. Porém o prédio é residencial e muito velho, entrada muito escondida e não possui elevadores, 4 andares de escada. Não possui serviços de limpeza e troca de roupas de cama e toalhas.

All amazing, clean, well organised, modern. only problem is at the fourth floor with no elevator, but if needed they will help you with luggage.

It was a very good experience. They helped with bags up and down the stairs. Gave local recommendations for both day life and night life. Very reasonable when we said we didn’t have cash for the hotel tax and room cleaning fee. They did try to explain the building having lots of stairs was not their fault but the law of most European countries which we understand we just felt bad because they had to explain that. I guess most people don’t like stairs but I didn’t mind. Wonderful place.

The room was extremely cold, and the stairwell to the apartment on the 4th floor was very stinky. The room itself fidnt even have proper blankets only sheets, so we had to sleep witv hoodies on..

Cute clean spot in Old Town Split

We had a lovely stay at Bastion. Don’t be fooled the area directly outside the apartment as the interior is very nice. It was a little tricky to get inside but they were quite responsive via WhatsApp. Overall the room and clean and comfortable and had great AC. The area is very central to everything you need in Split. Great value!

Wonderful room in a great location

Our stay was perfect. We were only in Split for 2 days and Bastion couldn't have been a better place. Perfect location right by the old city..close to tons of shops and restaurants. The room was modern and well appointed. Our host Toma was excellent. He met us at the front door and carried our luggage all the way to the room. A short while later he sent us texts with recommendations for dining, shopping, beaches, nightlife etc. Very helpful. A perfect stay.

Wonderful!

Loved our stay at Bastion. Do see that it is on the 4th floor. But the owner hauled our luggage up! Older style but clean and very well kept. You are in the Old Town section so it’s just foot traffic, no cars. (Although owner would help you with that).

Inside the room is nice, basic, clean and convenient. Not “luxury “, but ok. Everything I needed for a couple days except the hot water pot didn’t work. A balcony was advertised but you can’t go outside and the French doors are hard to lock. The air conditioner remote was difficult to operate. I never met a manager or owner but the communicated fine on WhatsApp. It’s only a few rooms and a young man met me the first day to give me keys and carry my luggage up 4 high stories to the space. That was very appreciated because it’s actually 8 flights of steps! Note the outside of the building and lobby is quite shabby, dirty and poorly lit. It’s a typical apartment building with many other tenants and not a reflection of the condition of the hotel rooms. I would suggest to the owner to clean up and maintain the outside a bit and put a motion light at the front door. There were shady guys around the front area, one was begging, another approached me and wouldn’t leave me alone, and the vibe was generally weird on that corner. I made sure not to stay out late. Otherwise the area didn’t feel unsafe, just right in front of the door where it was dark. There were usually other people were around.

The rooms are on 5th floor without a lift or service to carry the luggage. Bed is really basic, there is a big noise from the street. Someone started a piano at 8 am or so every morning. We did not sleep well during the stay. The Wi-Fi was not working and complicated. Many SSIDs, but none of them worked. I tried to ask help, but no-one responded. No Nespresso. The room (suite) was big so value for the price, but level is not more than two and half stars.
