This was a weekend getaway for my husband and me. Location is super close to beach and restaurants, so walking there was pleasant. Room was pretty clean and staff was friendly. There are a very things that give it a vintage look but I think they did a decent job updating it.
My negative experience was the walls are so thin, you can hear everything and everyone. There was work being done on the property so even though there was some sort of hammering or banging going on near by, it was difficult to sleep. Getting up super early because of the noise was not what I wanted to do on vacation.
Another thing I found very frustrating was there was no cable tv. My husband and I love watching HGTV after a fun day but that was not an option. They only had Roku and I was not going to start inputting my personal information to be able to watch Netflix.
So for me, the lack of privacy and comfort of just chilling on the couch, was a big let down. Nonetheless, like I said staff was great and you really can’t beat the 2 minute walk to the beach.
