My stay was very unpleasant due to a strong sewer odor that filled the entire room. The smell was constant and extremely noticeable throughout the stay. It was coming from the apartment’s bathroom.
The bathroom floor was visibly dirty and looked like it had not been cleaned in quite some time. The same issue was noticeable in the kitchen area.
I contacted the hotel about the smell and was told they installed an odor trap and that the issue was “resolved.” Unfortunately, the odor never went away. I reached out to them three or more times during my stay, but there was no follow-up or further assistance.
I also contacted Hotels.com twice, and they informed me they were unable to reach the property by phone or email, which was very frustrating.
The smell was so strong that I woke up every day with headaches, nausea, and dizziness. Friends staying in other apartments at the same property did not experience this issue, so it seems to be specific to certain units.
Very disappointing experience overall for an apartment that is centrally located.
