Ok, first lets start with the understanding what the typical Riad is like in the Medina area, at
at least for $100 USD and under. They are hard to find, the Medina is a maze and google maps only work so good. So for you to take off stars for that, you will have to take stars off for most Riads. The rooms are also very small and they all open(most Riads) to a center court yard. If anyone is making noise in the court yard, you will hear it. Size wise, think of an older hotel room in NYC. The rooms overall are very rustic, as they should be. If you want modern hotels, you should stay outside the Medina. With that said, we VERY much enjoyed our stay at Riad Celine. The manager and staff are absoultley fantastic! All of them! The room was very clean, but again small. Just be aware. They have a nice center area with chairs to relax in. You are served Morrocan tea and cookies upon arrival. Bed was hard for my taste, but my wife was fine. The terrace on top is absolutely beautiful! They serve a wonderful free breakfast in the morning. Just be sure not to wait too long like we did. I slept late due to jet lag and missed breakfast time. The staff was so nice they open the kitchen back up just for us! Overall I would give them 5 stars, just keep in mind my begining comments.
