Loved it
The location is wonderful, facing the Grand Canal and right next to a boulevard full of shops, restaurants, cafes, bars etc. Very convenient to get to from Marco Polo airport using the taxiboats with a walk of about 10 minutes. The atmosphere in general is charming and the rooms are incredibly comfortable and spacious for these old buildings.

Great position with roof top views a small Platform with 4 tables over the grand canal was nice. Room we had was quite small but bed was very large a super king size or even bigger was very comfortable.. breakfast could be better very little in the way of warm food not even a toaster. Ask for a coffee as the cofffee machine wasn’t the best..

Grand hotel on Grand Canal, but no so Grand upkeep
Wonderful location on the Grand Canal, close to vaporetto and traghetto stop. Good breakfast selection. Great rooftop terrace overlooking the Grand Canal. Front desk staff overall very friendly, except for one middle age gentleman. Washroom needs updating. Rust along shower/bath enclosure, faucets mismatched, vanity counter top broken and chipped. Good water pressure and good hot water. Room too warm and unable to turn on air conditioning since the hotel already disengage the air conditioning system. Windows do open but no screens so mosquitos became a problem.

I'd like to for sure recognize the afternoon desk attendent for being attentive and kind. I dont have her name, but she jad eastern/asain heritage and was great. Everything else was not. The manager was not kind did not care about our experience. The room was not good or comfortable. We could not increase the heat and the shower soaked the entire bathroom. Would not recommend.

Worst hotel experience ever! Hotel failed to provide us the canal view studio suite we prepaid for and with no apology. Staff said this happened before and they simply couldn’t give us our booked room. After talking to owner, staff agreed to compensate us for 100 euros for taking a less desirable room. I asked for cash and hotel insisted to send with wire transfer. The wire did not happen until after my repeated email requests. As wire transfer form did not show my recipient information correctly, my bank rejected and returned the wire fund. Then hotel tried to blame us for the failed wire and is not responding to my emails anymore. At this point, almost 6 weeks after our stay at the hotel, it still owes us the refund. 9/26/24

Friendly staff,lovely continental style breakfast, great location, approx 20mins walk to San Marks sq, lots of restaurant choices near to hotel, alot better value then the Sq. Right on the canal, watching the world go by, no dinner or bar facilities but easy to bring your own and hotel provides glasses to use in the terrace or upper deck.

Foscari is very clean and in a easy to get at spot from the train station. It doesn't matter where you go in Venice by boat its pricy. Good shopping and food all around. The after dark visit to St. Marcs was great, and well worth it!
