This is an old inn with good parking and well lit; it is a “budget” motel; we were given an actual key to unlock the door to our room on the 2nd floor. There is no elevator. The room is very utilitarian, with a mini fridge, a small electric coffee maker, no microwave, no iron/ironing board, no hair dryer. The service at check in was exceptional, even though there was a yet to be solved discrepancy in price; the location is ideal but be prepared for the constant noise of traffic; the best part of our overnight trip was the absolute cleanliness of the room-other than a very faint odor which we chuck to the age of the inn. The beds are very comfortable but there is no blanket, just a sheet and the thin comforter provided. Room has its own temperature control system. The white sheets were immaculate and crispy. The bathroom is of average size, no leaks and also very clean. It appears there are long-term residents at the inn, and everyone we encountered was polite. Though not our average venue, we were pressed to travel to this location for a funeral the next day; given the circumstances, we would not hesitate to stay here again.
