Superbe
he rooms were as expected, with good sound insulation (both outside and between rooms). It was a great stay with superb staff members who were very helpful from start to finish.
We actually ended up staying an extra night as our flight was canceled. The staff were very accommodating and managed to find us an extra room during this very busy Christmas season.

Nice lobby area & bar with breakfast in the morning. Coffee and tea in the room. Bed was very comfortable and shower/bathroom was nice with a hairdryer. Staff was pleasant and arranged a taxi pick up for us to the train station. I highly recommend this hotel.

The people at the hotel were all very friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and clean. It’s a cool hotel with a lot of modern art. We would definitely stay there again.

Disappointed
This hotel is not in the centre of town as described by many its 20 euro taxi ride away from town. The rooms are very compact, there is no cafeteria or restaurant in the hotel. During our 4 day stay the bar was closed on 2 of these. There are two or three restaurants in the immediate vicinity no cafeterias. There is an efficient tram service a 3/5minutes walk away. The reception staff are extremely helpful. Breakfast is the only meal served in the hotel and even though it finishes at 10.30 if you go down at 10 there’s almost nothing left, in fact this morning on my insistence a member of staff went out to buy some bread as there was none there. This hotel is small, definitely not in the centre of town and lacks in house facilities. The decor is faux modern with which I have no problem but as far as I can see there’s more emphasis on the look than on the services offered. What I recommend it to friends no.

Refurbished hotel missed the mark
Good service but refurbished old hotel not completed to good standards. The rooms themselves are fine and look good and modern with a comfortable Hilton bed. Astheically it looks good, but the reality is it's a 1970s or older hotel which has been refreshed. Unfortunately items like windows (v thin and allowing lots of noise) and doors (not closing well) and old carpets, unrefurbished lifts let down the place. The staff are nice enough, but having expected a new hotel I was a bit let down by the unrefurbished elements and level of noise from our room. Next time for the price 170-180 eur I'd book a new hotel built to good standards.

Very pleasant clean and comfortable. The staff were extremely helpful. We found we could easily walk to anywhere in the city centre from the hotel but it is also close to a tram stop and the tram service in Bordeaux is frequent and cheap.

We were informed when we arrived that the Board and food service other than breakfast was not available. It would have been nice to have been notified in advance.

The property was presented as happening, trendy and boutique-y but we arrived and told that the downstairs bar with bar snacks etc was closed for the two days we were there. It is also in a non descript area - while close to the old town it was still a hike from the river. The staff were however kind, helpful and professional. This place just did not excite.

Room smelled moldy. Carpet was stained and dirty. Not sure why they used white cream carpet. Low grade towels (old used). Shower pan yellow and stained. Everyone who worked that was very nice. Looks like ownership is not investing enough money to keep the hotel up.

The hotel front desk staff were very nice and professional, the room was specious, however, we were given an accessible room which we did not request. The hotel location was far from the old town, and did not feel safe.
