Great place, horrible management.
Inn at Churon Winery review 2/24/25. Title: GM NEEDS TO FIND A NEW JOB. We rented the Merlot 800sf suite for our anniversary. After purchasing 2 bottles of champagne to enjoy mimosas in our suite, we were told that we couldn’t get orange juice by the front desk employee. I politely requested that he speak with the GM. He said the GM confirmed that be was unwilling to send orange juice to our room. I asked to speak directly with him/her, and was told that the manager would not speak to us.
I am the owner of 2 boutique luxury hotels, and I couldn’t believe that the manager of this small property was unwilling to speak with me to rectify this simple request, even after I affirmed that I would post a negative review. This was a simple request at a property that claims luxury status. Totally unacceptable.If I owned this property, the manager would already be looking for a new career. I would suggest a career at the DMV or post office. :)
PS: Room was fantastic and other staff members were very accommodating.
