Pros: the hotel is conveniently located and walkable to most areas in Morro Bay. There are plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. The hotel staff was also really friendly and accommodating. The price of stay is also economical.
Cons: The hotel is dated. The gentleman at the check in desk told us the property had recently been acquired so some of the rooms have not been renovated. Our first room was upstairs and immediately upon entry the room smelled bad. It smelled like a convalescent home. We asked for a room without carpet and were given one. It still had a similar smell, but tolerable. You can hear everything going on in the rooms next and above you, including outside.
