We stayed at the Anatolia Hotel for three nights (in a family suite room -- 2 adults, 2 kids) and loved it. The hotel is very well maintained, every corner is spotless and the staff is extremely helpful and always pleasant to speak to. The breakfast bar is very diverse. We also had dinner in the hotel restaurant one night and were very happy with it. I also made use of the hotel sauna and steam room three times, which was an unexpected treat. The hotel is a short walk to the city centre and with the exception of a trip to the castle overlooking the city (which would have been tough with two young kids wherever we stayed in), we never used our car, which remained parked literally right outside the front door of the hotel. The area immediately around the hotel is a bit run down, but given the proximity to the city center and what you get for what you pay, Anatolia must rank among the very best of the hotels that I have ever stayed in. Although the hotel is on the main entrance road to the city from the highway, we did not have any issues with noise (we were on the second floor, on the side street from the main road). Our family suite had two rooms separated by a sliding door, two full en-suites and full amenities (safe, 2 TVs, Nespresso maker that got replenished every day, iron & board upon request, minibar, 2 bottles of complementary water every day, free wi-fi with good reception). This is a really really great hotel with some superb staff.
