Disgusted and discouraged
This hotel was, by far, one of the worst hotels we have ever stayed at. I was so dissatisfied with our stay but it was so late and I was so far beyond exhausted I just did not have the strengthen to find a different hotel. The very first thing that stood out was the lack of cleanliness. They are currently remodeling thier first floor so there was plooms of dust and the constant banging . The elevator had something sticky on the floor and I almost forgot to mention derogatory comments carved into the walls of the elevator. All this before actually seeing our room so it was no surprise to me when we got to our room the overall room looked ok. I decided to use the bathroom before I got us settled in for the night and that is when I found what appeared to be feces smeared on the wall of the bathroom directly above the light switch. I am so thankful I didnt touch it. I was so truly grossed out. The lady at the desk came to the room and took a picture of the poop and said that we would have to switch rooms. I was so far past being exhausted and discouraged. I would never recommend staying at this hotel. Was told by desk staff that a refund could not be given because I didnt pay them and that Hotels.com took my money? Just so not happy with the whole experience. I was pretty much stuck in a unsanitary hotel .
