Mixed Bag
My friend and I visited Cambria to take in the sights at the Fiscalini Ranch and to tour the lighthouse. We stayed two nights.
What we liked about our room, #16. Very spacious - comfortable beds - handy microwave, refrigerator/freezer, toaster, and a small drip coffee maker. The hotel is in a nice location and we enjoyed the courtyard that backs up to a serene green space.
What we didn’t like - furniture in sitting room looked like thrift store finds and there were no chairs as were shown in the room photos. Room was very dark unlike the room photo. Being on the bottom floor we could hear the footsteps/noises from our upstairs neighbors.
There was only one person in attendance the whole time we were there and he leaves the premises at nine p.m. so there’s no one on duty. Many times when we went to the lobby area there was no one present. Never stayed at a hotel where there was no one on night duty.
