Stayed Christmas week. Room above leaked dirty bath water into my room the second night of my stay. I was moved rooms and was told I’d receive “a lot of points” for the inconvenience the night of the incident.
Upon checkout, the issue was brought up again. Front desk manager was dismissive and after questioning it, relented and said I’d be issued points.
Seven days later, no points in my account and I had to call IHG’s support phone number. When they reached out to the front desk, support was told that my points were “forgotten”. I don’t appreciate dodging somebody else’s dirty bath water and don’t appreciate being lied to.
Beyond the manager I dealt with, staff is great and accommodating and very nice. However, being lied to by a manager and having my issue dismissed is unacceptable.
Also the breakfast is incredibly hit or miss. Great when the owner of the restaurant isn’t around, bare minimum food, no drinks, and raw bacon when he isn’t.
I generally pick this place when I visit the valley and have had great experiences in the past. This trip left much to be desired.
