The Acme hotel is the best hotel I have stayed at in Chicago. The rooms are on the smaller side but you have everything you need. The beds are very comfortable and the shower is amazing. I have stayed in several of their rooms and they are always very clean. But, the main reason I always return to this hotel is for the staff. They always go above and beyond what is expected and I appreciate all of their hard work. The manager, Jennifer, is the absolute best.

Urban grunge..which was not what I was expecting (so maybe that’s on me). Only one working elevator for my entire stay —5 days. Thankfully I was on the third floor and could take the funky stairway. Nice employees. No coffeemaker in the room. Curtain rather than a closet door. Not all TV stations worked. I am a Marriott person and haven’t stayed at a Hilton in some time…I am running back to Marriott.

The hotel itself is really cool & the counter staff are great. Really enjoyed the vibe of this place. Only issue I had is that the sound insulation of this building is not very good & the location right on Ohio street (the Main Street into downtown) means that even from the 8th floor I could hear people shouting on the street below, emergency vehicle sirens, & the casinos loud car echoing off the building which made it kind of hard to sleep. I like the hotel enough that I’d stay again, I’d just bring ear plugs next time
