This property is more like an AirBnB rather than a hotel. It is located in an old factory-looking building that has been converted into spacious and comfortable cafe. The proprietors of the cafe have turned the upstairs are into a few bedrooms to rent out.
The bedroom we had was very clean and decorated in an inviting and thoughtful way. It was large by Japanese standards and had 4 separate beds for our family. The bathroom was small, with a sink in the open room, and a toilet and shower behind a door. Everything was very clean and seemed like almost new.
In the morning, we went down to the cafe for some excellent drinks and baked goods for breakfast that appeared to be made on site.
Some features of the property that may not be for everyone:
It is not a hotel and there are no hotel-like amenities. After checking in with one of the managers of the cafe, we were escorted up a flight of stairs where we had to carry our own luggage. We were then asked to take off our shoes before entering the area where the bedrooms were located.
The person who checked us in was very nice and accommodating, but spoke very little English. It was no issue for us, as we could use google translate and there were many signs and instructions written in English.
Overall, we were happy with our stay and we would readily stay again.
